The decoration and look of the house play a major role in determining the mood of the place. The decor of the house also has an effect on the mood of the people living in the house, so it is important to pay attention to the décor.
I was thinking to make something colorful and elegant wall décor so tried making this 3d peacock mural wall décor. And I am really happy how it turned out.

Material used to make Marvellous 3DPeacock mural wall decor, ceramic Clay craft.
- MDF board/ wooden board
- Ceramic clay powder
- White gesso
- Acrylic colors
- 3D Outliner.
Step 1:
I have used MDF board in this project. If you don’t have MDF board/wooden board then you can use cardboard or wooden board also.
Step 2:
Before I start this project I have painted this MDF board with white gesso paint. Gesso works as a primer; it makes our base ready to accept all the paints. To make gesso at home I took 2 tsp plaster of paris (POP), 1 tsp water, 1tsp fevicol, 1 tsp white acrylic color. Mix all the ingredients nicely to form a proper consistency and your white gesso is ready.
Step 3:
Now apply white gesso on MDF board.
Step 4:
The key ingredient for this project is ceramic clay dough. I have prepared this clay dough from ceramic powder. I brought ceramic powder from “itsy bitsy” store. It is available on Amazon also.

Step 5:
Now draw peacock on board and then apply glue on it before pasting the clay.
Step 6:
Now start pasting clay on peacock and shape it properly. Use tools to draw design of peacock feather and arrange them neatly.
Step 7:
Once you finished with clay work, let it dry. Ceramic clay will take 24hrs to dry. Start coloring peacock once it is completely dry. Use acrylic colors for painting. I have used here pearl acrylic color. You can color peacock as per your choice also. Choose some light color for background. Let it dry for some time and then apply varnish. It is essential that you varnish your completed acrylic paintings. The varnish will protect the painting from dust, UV rays and yellowing.
Step 8:
