DIY Best out of waste CDS craft- set of 3 wall decor craft from waste CDs and Eco friendly paper plate

CDs are recyclable, but you can’t just throw them into bin. Do you have waste CDs? It can be converted into the beautiful art piece using some creative ideas which will bring out the hidden artist in you. Are you thinking to reuse old CDs? You can undeniably try this wall décor. I used Waste CDs and eco friendly paper plates to make this set of 3 wall décor. We don’t need any special supplies to make decorative things for our home. We just need a creative mind and passion and we can make anything from waste to best. There are lots of things around us that we never notice from which we can make any art such as- carton boxes, paper plates, sauce bottles, plastic fork, old coffee mugs, unused CDs etc. We can reuse all these things to make some beautiful art piece rather than wasting them or throwing into bin. I had lots of unused CDs which I wanted to use to make wall décor for my living room. I made lamp also from old CDs, I have posted article also; you can check how to make lamp from unused CDs.

Set of 3 wall decor craft from waste CDs and Eco friendly paper plate–DIY Best out of waste CDS craft

Material used:

• Cds

• Cloth

• Eco friendly paper plate

• Glue

• Golden color

 • Black color

Step 1: Waste CDs

So as you see I have used few supplies to make this beautiful CDs craft. If you want to make this craft, just grab al the materials and let’s start. We need to stick tissue paper or cloth on CDs because it will make your base ready to accept colors. If you directly color the CDS also ok but your craft will not get that rich look. Pasting tissue paper or cloth will give texture effect also to your craft. Take cloth or tissue paper and stick on CDs. Let it dry.

Step 2:

Start coloring the CDs; apply color as per your choice or according to the color of wall. I wanted to highlight the design on CD with golden which I am going to show you in next step. Golden color suits on dark background, hence I have painted CDs with black color.

Step 3:

I have used Eco friendly disposal plate to make a leaf. This is one of the best the part of this project. I never thought eco-friendly disposal plates can be used to make such a beautiful craft. Before I decided to use eco-friendly plates, I was thinking I could use mould it clay for this craft. But almost in every project I have used fevicryl mould it clay or modeling clay or air dry clay or ceramic clay. So in this project I decided not to use clay for this craft. I was thinking then I got an idea I can use eco-friendly plates that will give same effect as clay. Because everyone don’t have clay at their home but they may have eco-friendly paper plates. Benefit of this project is you don’t need to buy anything except colors.

Step 4:

Draw leaf design on plate and cut it properly. Eco- friendly plates are hard to cut, use good scissor to cut the plates; small scissor will not work.

Step 5:

Make Petals cutout from outer part of plate. Stick them properly on CD to form flower design. Golden color enhances it beauty when highlighted. Apply golden color and let it dry.

Step 6:

Now apply golden color to leaves and stick them on CDs using glue.

Step 7:

Golden leaf frame is ready and looks really elegant. You can stick it with double sided tape. I have shown how to make this art, with very simple steps; using materials that are easily available at home that one must try.
