Whether its birthday party, Diwali, Christmas or anniversary celebration; we need wax candles to make the occasion more beautiful and perfect. We usually buy candles from market. But some people loves to make it by their own, for those creative people Paraffin wax is very good wax for creating custom candles. The paraffin wax is colorless and it does not have any smell. Paraffin candles also burn brighter than other wax candle types. Manufacturers create candles with different blends of paraffin wax depending on the type of candle they’re creating and the melting point.

Step 1 :
Material list:
Paraffin wax,
Thermocol sheet (10mm),
Doll,
Candle,
Fevicol.

Step 2.
I have used 10mm thermocol sheet to make base for this doll. Mark 3 different sizes of circle on thermocol and cut it properly. Now make hole in the center of each cutout. Now fix candle on bigger cutout. Then paste remaining layers on it. This is how our base is ready.
Step 3.
Key material for this project is paraffin wax. You can buy paraffin wax from “Itsy bisty” store or it is also available on Amazon. Take some quantity of wax and add pink color crayon pieces in a bowl and melt it on low flame. I have used pink color crayon to make pink color doll, you can use any color as per your choice.

Step 4.
Pour some water in big pot. Make sure that your base will dip completely in water. Dip your base 2 to 3 times in water to remove air bubbles. Now dip the base in water and slowly pour the molten wax at the centre and then lift the base slowly and carefully shape the wax to form a frill of dress. Repeat this procedure until you get proper shape. Please be careful while handling hot wax to avoid burn.
Step 5.
Without a doll this project is incomplete. Now take a doll and cut it from centre. My doll is around 4 inches. According to doll height I made base for her dress. To form a foamy texture for a dress, beat the molten wax with spoon for 2 to 3 minutes. Apply it on a doll and shape it to form a proper dress. So the last step is to fix the doll on the base, for that just put some wax on centre of the base and fix the doll on it. And our wax doll is ready.
